   Hi Donna, just to say thanks a million for making me one of your lovely friends on Yuku, I'm sorry I haven't been much of one so far (!) but been desperately trying to finish the written work for my counselling course. On Thursday night I'm going to see Joan As Police Woman at the Scala here in London, then on Friday morning I'm off up North for the summer to teach. Back in London in September so if you're ever over this way PLEASE let me know, I'd love to see you.

   Thanks for the thought, it's appreciated From what I understand, "True Love Waits" doesn't get played live very often either. That just makes it rare, precious, AND beautiful! Actually, I chose that song for the "soundtrack" to Lily's novel, which I'm tending toward self-publishing after all; I am getting SO tired and fed up with the business of getting it marketed. Hate it. So, hopefully it won't be too long! I'm going to list the soundtrack songs on the website, assuming that no calamities befall me, which might be likely considering this razor's edge I'm stubbornly walking on... but I SO want to see this story in print! Too bad that it can't reach the audience it seeks though, as we always had envisioned as wide a net as possible. Ah well, best laid plans of mice and men etc

   Oh, Dave!! You just don't know!! Other than the personal impact and thrill of being at Stevie's shows, this was the BEST concert I've ever seen. There was hurricane-like weather, and we stood at the gate for hours in the cold rain, but we stood at the stage right between Thom Yorke and Ed O'Brien.     Hey, honey. I'm down in New Orleans for the literary conference. It's hot as hell, but the city is getting back to normal it seems. The ninth ward is still heartbreaking. Still so much to clean up but it feels like the city is coming back.
